The concern is that the building is eligible to be placed on the historic register and that the Town and the Society did not want to jeopardize the status. With the 'okay' from the state, the bid was let for shingles. Sam Blanchard was the lowest bidder at $17,500. The job was completed in three days (and looks fantastic).
